Life is a constant process of giving and receiving, and each of us is an important link in that connection. Many people, from many places in the world are waiting  for your kindness, your warm embrace… Sometimes, just an affectionate glance, a friendly smile, or a sincere sentence is enough to fulfill a heart!

Because of this, the charity program "Give love and receive smiles" was organised and implemented to bring love to the lonely elders, and dioxin victims. This is also our aim that NGP Logistics Co., Ltd. - from the early days of its establishment, has always been concerned about.

On the occasion of the company's 2nd anniversary, the board of directors of NGP and the entire staffs together with our customers, and vendors r organized a charity program to share our understandings and love with the less fortunate.

Spread the spirit of charity to connect love

Along with the saying: "To change the world, start with helping people around". On August 20, the charity delegation of NGP Company was present at the Social Protection Nurturing Center of Hai Phong City in An Lao district and offered gifts to  the elderly and also the staffs here.

The Center is currently taking care of and nurturing 96 lonely elders. Most of them are people who are childless, homeless, and have no support, especially among them many old people are weak and unable to live on their own. With the desire to join hands to share joys and sorrows, The whole delegation sent greetings, encouragements, and exchanges with the elder. Here, the delegation visited and donated necessities such as rice, milk, diapers, and so on. In addition, the delegation also donated 5kg of fresh beef and water spinach to improve the meals for the elderly.

Besides - as gratitude and thanks to the nurses who have been looking after and sharing with the elderly every day in the center - NGP has given a small portion of fruit to the center's representative and sent it to all the staff who are working here.

The presents are not of great value but have practical meaning, above all, they show the spirit of mutual affection, the ethics of drinking water and remembering the source to contribute to the community and society of the NGP company's employees as well as our partners.

On the same day, the charity delegation of NGP Company also visited, shared, and encouraged at Thien Giao Mushroom Farm - 353C, Ngoc Xuyen, Do Son, Hai Phong.

Thien Giao Mushroom Farm – The place has nurtured and taught many war victims, Agent Orange Dioxin, and disabled people for nearly 45 years.

Mr. Thanh and M(r)s. Thanh - Manager of the Mushroom Farm shared: “We, together with friends and children, grow mushrooms, raise chickens, ducks... to cover our daily lives, although the income of the mushroom farm is not much because the consuming market has lots of challenges, moreover taking care of people infected with Agent Orange is hard work. However, we are always optimistic, always smiling, enthusiastic, warm, tolerant, and kind with constant efforts.”

Mr. Vu Huu Long - the company's director, presented 20 million VND in cash along with some clothes, fresh milk, instant noodles, shower gel, shampoo... to Thien Giao Mushroom Farm.

Throughout the established day with the spirit of " Healthy leaves cover torn leaves", the NGP company's charity group temporarily put aside the chaos of work to spend a little time visiting and encouraging friends and brothers and sisters at  Thien Giao- Do Son, Hai Phong. The firm handshakes, the stories that our charity group shared, and the joyful laughter inspired the disadvantaged people here to have more energy to move on in the difficult life.

Give love - Receive smiles

True to the meaning of the program launched by NGP company, we believe that this life still has many kind hearts and each of us tries to be a bridge to spread and connect love to the world, to the leaves that have not yet healed, to encourage them to have more courage and confidence to overcome difficulties. We - the NGP collective - have received a lot of joy, happiness, kindness, and countless positive energies from this meaningful trip. Hopefully, in the future, we can together with our customers and partners spread more sharing and mutual love to the community and society.
